“I don’t care if you think I’m Satan reincarnated,” President Joe Biden said Thursday night when asked about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) commission to investigate the January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol.

Biden made the comment during a CNN town hall event, where he claimed that people are saying that it was “a peaceful march” and that “nothing happened” in January when protesters stormed the Capitol:

“I don’t care if you think I’m Satan reincarnated. The fact is, you can’t look at that television and say nothing happened on the sixth. You can’t listen to people who say this was a peaceful march. No, I’m serious. Think about it. Think of the things being said.”

“No one said nothing happened,” Laura Ingraham reacted after playing a clip of Biden’s claim on her Fox News Channel program Thursday night. “All emotionalism, no facts,” Ingraham added.

“That’s a typical Biden dodge,” Ingraham said, before taking a shot at CNN’s treatment of Biden’s claim:

“And, of course, all the lemmings over at CNN just went, ‘Oh, thank you, it’s so brilliant.’ It’s ridiculous.”
