Mark Levin discusses his new book, “American Marxism” (Screenshot)

“This stuff is nothing new,” author and iconic conservative pundit Mark Levin says, discussing how his new book, “American Marxism,” explains how Marxist philosophies and tactics conceived in the 1800’s are being used by today’s liberals to upend and destroy American society.

The Biden Administration’s policies, on everything from immigration and Critical Race Theory to climate change and transgenderism, are deeply rooted in Marxism, Levin explains in an exclusive interview with Media Research Center President Brent Bozell:

“I try to explain where this comes from in each instance. I try to explain that, yes, it is part of the oppressed-oppressor movement, the model that Marx set up. Even when it comes to economics, which I didn’t get to in the book because it was long enough. We talk endlessly about class warfare, the Haves and the Have-Nots.

“This stuff wasn’t just developed today – this stuff comes straight out of Marx and Engels. It is Americanized, it is altered. It may not be technically, exactly the same thing. But, fundamentally, it is.”

Democrats exploit immigration, race, transgenderism and climate change to promote their Marxist agenda – not because they have any real interest in these issues – Levin says. Climate policy, for example, is not about climate change, but about advancing “a de-growth, anti-capitalist movement that was born in Europe,” Levin says.

Likewise, the transgenderism being taught to kids in elementary schools today is simply a means to turn American society “upside down and inside out,” Levin says.

“American Marxism” explains how Democrats policy on each of these issues has its historical roots in Marxism, Levin says.

“Let’s look at what else – immigration. There’s a whole discussion in the book. This is LatCrit, which is born out of this Critical [Race] Theory, too, and what is that theory? Well, basically, it’s this: that we Americans in this country, we’re the illegal aliens. We came here, they say, our ancestors, from Europe. White Protestants, although we’re not all Protestants – you’re Catholic and I’m Jewish, but so be it, doesn’t matter – came here, settled on this land. This country is illegitimate, everything in the country’s illegitimate, and if we have Hispanic Americans who are patriotic, the problem with those people, according to LatCrit, is that their minds have been colonized by the White supremacist-dominant society. So open borders: what’s the problem with open borders? And this is what’s driving Biden and the Democrat Party. No matter how horrendous the border gets, they don’t have a problem with this.

“Let’s look at the climate change issue. They don’t care about climate change; there’s not a damn thing we can do about climate change. It’s not about climate change, it’s not about the climate, it’s not about weather, it’s not about tornados.

“It is a de-growth, anti-capitalist movement that was born in Europe that was exported to the United States, and they Americanized these Marxist movements. So we have Critical Race Theory, we have LatCrit, we have so-called climate change.

“And then we have transgenderism now that’s being taught to eight and nine year-olds in elementary school that this whole notion of binary genders or sexes is, again, part of this social contract that was agreed to hundreds of year ago – but, don’t count us in. We don’t believe in this binary thing about a male having this and a female having that.

“So, all of that is turned upside down and inside out. So, I try to explain where this comes from in each instance.
